Travel & Transportation

We highly encourage attendees to take public transportation, if possible, as parking in and around the UC Berkeley campus is limited and expensive.

Downtown Berkeley by BART

The Downtown Berkeley BART Station is located on Shattuck Avenue between Allston Way and Addison Street. It is conveniently located close to the University of California campus, the David Brower Center and the conference hotel The Residence Inn by Marriott. Parking at the Conference Venue (David Brower Center):

The city-owned garage is located beneath the David Brower Center and has 99 parking spaces including 4 electric vehicle charging spaces. If parking here, take the Allston Way elevator, which exits onto the sidewalk less than 100 feet from the main front door of the David Brower Center. Check Garage Hours and Rates here.

Valet Parking Only. Valet pricing: 0-3 Hours $25, 3-6 Hours $45, >6 Hours $59. Daily: $59.00. Key fob for vehicle required.
